Actors, dancers, street and circus performers.
The proposed work is based in the identity of the actor, as a necessary source to support and reinforce its own clownish work by constantly take the student back to its own need, recovering the simplicity in the artistic expression. The body is made available and placed at the center of this course, becoming the center of the theatrical process. In the comic theater, and particularly in the clown, is not the representation of something, but the identification.
“Comedy and performance” is a course structured over four consecutive weeks. Each week, in a practical and substantial way, deals with different aspects of the comic-creative process: in the beginning it’s focused on the physical work, than to experimentation and theatrical improvisation, passing through the presence on stage, the use of the scenic space, up to the creation of gags, performances and creation and development of the each artistic projects.
The course is suitable for theater, circus, street theater and dance professionals, who seek in the seminar not only a moment to enrich their artistic and cultural baggage, but also a possibility to structure and come with their own artistic project.

The final calendar will be communicated a few days before the course starts.
PARTICIPANTS
The number of participants was reduced to a maximum of 10 people in order to give more space to the work of each student.
LOCATION
Teatro C’art.
During the days of the workshop the space of the Teatro C’art is made available to the participants during the hours free from the theater activities, for training and free development of the topics addressed during the week of the course.

ACCOMODATION
Accommodation is at the Sigerico Hostel http://www.ostellosigerico.it/joomla/it/home-it.html in via Santa Maria a Chianni in Gambassi Terme, 5 minutes by car from the Teatro C’art. It is a beautiful building on the Via Francigena, which Sigerico, archbishop of Canterbury, traveled between 990 and 994.
Accommodation in double and triple rooms.
The cost of accommodation per person is € 13.00 per day. The accommodation will be paid upon your arrival at the hostel.
The service includes: sheets and blankets will be provided, instead you will need to equip yourself with towels.
HOME / THEATER TRANSFERS
To organize your home / theater transfers, we ask you to inform us if you come with your car and if you can make it available for the group, for these short transfers.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR WORK
– comfortable clothes for the physical part and changes
– all the staff clothes, objects that you can use for you creation.
– for the principal part of the work, we’ll work on a clown and if you have worked in this direction bring dress, clothes for clown work (blouses, pants, ties, hats, skirts, full dresses, jackets, shoes).At the theater we have some clothes that we can lend you.
– musical instruments if you use for you creation work.
